Hi Jessica, Thank you for your question.  I apologize, but we don't have any geologists able to help identify this specimen.  After some basic research, I learned that rock shops will sometimes do some basic identification for clients at no cost.  Not all rock shops will do this, so it might be worth calling around to ask before visiting.  

I looked around for a site with research-based information that I could share with you, however I couldn't find one that was helpful in identification.

We may have someone who can help. Our Cowlitz rock expert says: "Looks like there is some blue in there. Is it from the Ellensburg area? There are a lot of blue agates. Wherever it's from it is not very good color."
