The facility where I board my horse had just gotten hay delivered and I noticed these big leafed plants in it and was wondering if you could tell me what they are , if they are toxic to horses.

That appears to be common milkweed. It is toxic to horses in both fresh and hay forms. They will avoid eating it if they can because it tastes bad.
