Blister beetles increasing in number? #731879

I have seen a significant number of these insects this year and had never heard of them before this. If i have lawns where a significant population of these beetles are is that cause for concern?
Livingston County Michigan
This insect appears periodically in Michigan and actually is a predator of grasshopper eggs-so a good guy. Occasionally an outbreak occurs and they defoliate garden plants such as fall anemone completely. (Not really a lawn pest) Here is an article written by one of my colleagues that will explain further. https://www.canr.msu.edu/news/blister_beetles_handle_with_care
