My ivy plant grown in Kashmir (Asia) is getting green-yellow-brown patches, and tips are also getting mild brown and ultimately dying. Stems very rarely seeping red jam like substance. Please tell me what to do.
I don't water the plant too much.

Expert Response
Thank you for your question. I do not recognize the variety of ivy, and assume it is a houseplant. We don't have much information on the diseases that are present in your region that can cause browning on leaves, but many houseplant problems arise from care, rather than disease, issues. Is the plant in a well-draining container? How much light does it receive? How often do you fertilize it, and with what? If you can supply more information, we can try to diagnose the problem(s). Thank you!
Thanks for your kind response,
My ivy is grown directly upon land instead of any container/pot.
Plant is facing towards north-west, and is receiving around 6-7 hours of direct sunlight.
Mostly I use vermi compost, Diammonium phosphate, Urea, Metal-ion chelates bio stimulant as fertilizer.
I water the plant, thrice a week. Sometimes tips get aphids, but are easily repelled by insecticide.
But nowadays, red jam like substance is seeped by stems, but very rarely. And something that concerns me is that the tips are getting mild brown then get sulky to grow and ultimately die and a drop of red jam is lastly left at the tip.
Leaves are turning yellow to brown, showing visible patches. Something that confuses me to differentiate between leaf spot and what can be seen in picture above.
The plant is highly important as it covers the facade of an culturally significant building. Please help to diaganose.

I cannot identify the "red jam" without a photo, showing where it is coming from. Do you have a laboratory that is accessible to test your soil? Here is an article on ivies and their problems: https://hgic.clemson.edu/factsheet/ivy/
