This is a cat-faced/orb-weaver spider (Family: Araneidae). They are very beneficial and are non-poisonous to humans. It is an adult female.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I knew the spider was special and in the 37 years we have lived here, we have never seen one like her. She is so special. She is by our patio door and spends a little time on her web, but most of the time she crams into a corner. We're not sure she is getting enough to eat. Should we move her? If so, where do you think she would like to be.
We haven't named her yet. Teresa & Peter Koepp

I would not move her, she is well-fed in my opinion. Spiders have an extensive internal system for digestion (large stomach) and often don't need to feed that often to be considered very healthy.
