Spider Identification #724939

Can you identify this spider? It's about the size of a quarter. It had, apparently, drowned in my dog's water dish this morning.

It's difficult to be certain of the ID. My best guess is a male orb weaver in the family Araneidae.
Whatever the ID, the good news is that Oregon doesn't have any deadly spiders.
