Identify Thorny Woody Plant #724777

Asked September 17, 2020, 2:01 PM EDT

I have a lot of thorny woody bushes growing on 2.5 acre property. I haven't been able to identify this plant and whether it's considered invasive. Seems to be growing and spreading with great ease!

Expert Response

It looks like a quince. Check for flowers in the spring. They should almost come out before the leaves.
Or more likely prickly ash.
