Soil report #720266

Asked September 02, 2020, 2:39 PM EDT

Hi there I had a soil test done and saw that my pH was pretty high. They did not give me a recommendation on how to adjust this so I’m asking here if there’s anything I should use to bring it down. Thank you

Expert Response

Soil pH between 6 and 7.5 is acceptable for turf, so your 7.4 should be fine. It's a bit dated (1992), but there is a helpful graphic in this document on page 4 that can help you visualize nutrient availability/why that range is acceptable: https://archive.lib.msu.edu/tic/tgtre/article/1992nov1a.pdf
