Curious if you know what spider this may be? It’s the largest I think I’ve ever seen in the wild, probably as long as a nickel and about as wide as a dime.

The photo lacks the detail needed for us to provide a certain identification. Based upon what we can see, we have concluded the spider is an orbweaver (family Araneidae). The one in the photos resembles a barn spider (Araneus cavaticus) but we can't be sure of that.
