I've had this grass pop up in my "city grass" and now essentially take over my lawn this year. Established lawn, on sprinklers, for 15 years. Never a problem before. No idea what it is or how to get rid of it... I want my nice thick lawn back. Bad grass on left, good grass on right. Any help would be appreciated!

From the pictures, it looks like this could be crabgrass or another weedy grass. Here is some information for you about treating for these weeds that should help.
