Transplant shock is severe when a plant is transplanted in the hottest days of summer. This tree does not look good! If it generates some new leaf buds and when you scrape the bark with your fingernail you see green, there is a chance the tree will survive. If you get no new leaf buds and the color brown shows when scraped, the tree is most likely not going to survive.
