We just bought a home in Easton with about 3 acres and its mostly lawn. We would like to convert a good portion of the property into a variety of pollinator meadow/wildflower gardens. 2 question:
1 - Is there any type of program or organization that can help me decide what seed/plants to buy and where to buy them?
2 - Is there any type of bee keeper organization in Talbot county that can help in getting us set-up with an beginners hive or two?
Thank you! ~EL

Thanks for your question Eric-
I would recommend contacting me directly, since I have some experience and can help you with information regarding meadows. I might recommend contacting the Wye River Beekeepers for information about beekeeping and where/how to purchase bees. Prior to COVID, they would meet monthly and have speakers talk about current topics.
My email is <personal data hidden> and I serve Talbot County as the horticulture educator.
