Spider mites on straberry leaves #682547

Asked March 03, 2021, 4:09 PM EST

I found tiny webs and creatures on my strawberry leaves and my leaves look sick. I am growing them hydroponically indoors to see if I can get strawberries in the winter. Are these spider mites? How do I deal with them? Fortunately, only a dozen plants or so are involved out of the 50 or so I have. I live in Okanogan county in Washington State.

Hello William

Very likely you do have spider mites. The webbing is a tell-tale sign. Use a magnifying hand lens to look at the tiny moving specks to see if you can identify them, comparing them to pictures in these references.
