I was reading about the make your own PVC light stand for growing seedlings when I came across the light that they used. I wanted to buy the same one they used in the pictures but I couldn't find it at all. Am I looking in the wrong places or is that light discontinued?

Hi- that light was purchased 10 years ago at Home Depot. Types and brands change frequently.
Any 4 ft. long, 2-tube, shop light will work. It should be ready to hang and plug in.
Most of the fluorescent lights are set-up for T-8 tubes (1 in. diameter) or T-5 tubes (5/8 in. diameter). The T-8 is less expensive and does a good job of growing vegetable and flower transplants.
