I have a very large agave in my yard and after the recent blizzard and freeze it is completely wilted except for the center leaves. How can I revive it? I have attached before and after photos

Hi Tammy,
While agave have certainly been damaged by the extreme freeze, many species are native to this area and should recover. The fact that the central core is still alive is a very good sign.
You may want to wait a couple of weeks until after all fear of another freeze is over. However, if the outer leaves are becoming soggy and mushy, by all means cut them back to where they are hard. Be very careful not to cut or damage the central part of the plant which still looks healthy.
