Hello,
Thank you for using MSU Extension Ask-an-expert with your invasive species question. several lakes in the state have used diver assisted harvesting services to remove invasive species from lakes with varying degrees of success. One thing I do know is that this process does require an EGLE permit because of its lake bottom disturbance activities.
