We do not have enough information and plant characteristics to accurately identify the plant.  Juvenile foliage can look different than mature foliage.  We would like to have more information.  Where is the location of the plant; did you plant this, etc. 

With more information it is also possible you may have to wait until the plant puts out more growth in the spring. At that point you can submit more photos including mature foliage and possible flowers, seeds, etc.

A possibility may be a type of fleabane (Erigeron sp.). https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewChecklist.php?genus=Erigeron

It is up to you if you want to wait for more id characteristics such as flowers, etc.
