I recently learned about a method called "Water Glassing" for egg preservation. Despite finding a lot of information on homesteading blogs, I am struggling to find any published research regarding the safety of this method. Is water glassing a reasonable method to use to preserve eggs?

Hi Rachel, Thank you so much for being so careful and investigating this method of preservation. There is a reason you cannot find a tested recipe because it is not a safe method of preserving eggs. You can freeze eggs out of the shell, but not whole eggs and not through submerging in water. Thank you again for being so careful
