Growth hanging from tree #672289

You may have to enlarge pic to see this snakeskin like growth extended from spruce tree to shrubbery. I am scared it might be snake. Want to get rid of it.

Unfortunately, even enlarging the picture I am not able to clearly see what you are referencing. But we don't have any diseases that would fit the description, so it is likely a snake skin.

I'd like to also mention that in Virginia it is illegal to kill a snake unless there is imminent danger or threat.
