Hello, I am working on what will be a shade garden as soon as my burgundy belle maple tree matures. I want to make a brick path thru the garden and I don't want to hurt the tree. How far away does the path have to be from the tree? Thanks

Actual bricks are only a few inches thick and do not go deeply into the soil to present a problem for your tree's roots/ However, I would have it at least 6 feet away because branches will grow outward and you do not want to be ducking.
