Twisty Baby Black Locust tree covered in cocoons #660723

hundreds of leaves on my twisty baby have 1/2" cocoons hanging from the leaves.  Inside is a small black caterpillar.

These are bagworms (https://entomology.ca.uky.edu/ef440). If they are within arms reach, I would advise removing them before they defoliate trees.
