Hi- it appears that the leaves are brown along the edges. This was probably not caused by insect pests or diseases. It is more likely environmental stress. Some possibilities: lack of water, root injury, a too small container, heat from the wall behind the planter, excess fertilizer salts. 

Spraying neem oil with detergent was unnecessary since there is no pest problem and could burn foliage if done on a hot day.
