Parsley leaves turning pink #655795

Asked June 25, 2020, 6:17 AM EDT

I’m wondering if there is something wrong with my potting soil or plants. Every year I grow flat leaf parsley in hanging baskets - in past years the parsley has thrived...deep green, strong and robust plants. This year the plants aren’t growing well and some leaves are turning pink. What’s going on? Thanks for any ideas and solutions.

Expert Response

We think this is likely a nutrient problem due to all of the rain we have had this year, which could leach out nurients from the soil.
Pinch out any discolored leaves and fertilize your plant and you should hopefully see it perk-up.
