Roof rats? aka Black Rats #653153

Hello,

Are Roof rats? aka Black Rats found in the foothills @ 6500 feet? If they are not, what else would it be?

It may be a roof rat, but is most likely a norway rat. Norway rats are common in Colorado. Roof rats can be found. I am including the URL to information sheets on both rats.
