Lime bush looking withered #652035

Asked June 17, 2020, 3:50 AM EDT

My lime bush has been great all season but lately its looking withered with all its leave curled inward. Is it because of the colder than usual winter? It gets a good drink of water every other day, so I didn't think it would be short of water.

This lime bush is in my backyard in Melbourne, Australia. Our winter appears to be colder this year averaging around 15 degrees Celsius during the day and like this morning, it was 3 degrees Celsius. We’re only into the first month of winter. While the leaves are curled inwards, they do not feel dried to the touch.

Thank you. Temperatures would be the primary suspect They tolerate temperature only to 50 deg F (10 C). https://www.greenandvibrant.com/lime-tree-care#Temperature. That is why taking plants indoors is recommended in cooler environments. It may revive in the spring, but it depends on whether it is planted outdoors or in a container you can bring inside, or how cold it gets this cold. Good luck!
