Expert Response

Lots of things eat leaves! Could you please send a picture?
I found black things on the back of one of the leaves that caused the leaf to curl and on another leaf an insect. Sorry for the out of focus closeups.
What can I treat the plant with to protect it?
Thank you,

It is a caterpillar or larvae of some ilk. The black spots are its droppings.

Check the plant closely and see if you can spot them and physically remove them. You might have to go out at night with a flashlight. Unless the damage is extensive you should just tolerate them.

The third picture is just a little spider.
