This phlox seems to be damaged and I don't know what caused it. It has gotten enough water and doesn't appear to have mites. I've enclosed two images that show the damage. Thank you.

It could be damage from aphids or another insect that sucks out plant juices. The yellowed leaves at the base of the plant are probably from too much water after one of the heavy rains.
