live just east of Elizabet, lots of ponderosa pines in area, lots of "miller" moths this time of year...
have some sort of "grub" worm killing lawn - the birds cannot eat them fast enough to control them -
are about 1 1/2 inches long, are dark, and have 4 dark stripes down their body.... any idea which type of "grub" that they are? Live just under the thatch in the lawn - not down in the ground

Hello! Without a photo it's tough to say, but it sounds like you might be dealing with cutworms or army worms. Could you send a photo?
