I had two ginko trees planted behind my townhome. They seemed to bud out, one even getting good leaves but now they look like they are dying. What happened? If I go back to the place I bought them for replacements, will it happen again? Photo one has almost no leaves on it, photo 2 is the second tree that got leaves but many look like they are dying too.

The tree is blooming. It's possible that they are just drying up. The leaves look ok don't they? Here is a link to some info. https://naturewalk.yale.edu/trees/ginkgoaceae/ginkgo-biloba/ginkgomaidenhair-tree-24 . You could have a certified arborist take a look if you still feel concerned after looking through the info. https://extension.umn.edu/planting-and-growing-guides/how-hire-tree-care-professional
