Hello, experts! I have a French Lilac which this spring I noticed its new leaves are all brown and curled. I wonder if that was caused by that last 15 inches of snow we received a few weeks back? Please see the two pictures I took, one a close up of the leaves, and one of the whole plant. I live a few miles north of Chatfield Reservoir, and the plant is located on the east side of our garage, if that helps in your analysis.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Pam,
The damage is very much consistent with what I'd expect from our late frost/freeze and snow, especially if your lilac looked pretty good last year. I would keep an eye on it to make sure the damage doesn't spread or increase, if it does please don't hesitate to reach out again.
