I found this article by our Metro MG leader https://today.oregonstate.edu/news/pucker-it’s-time-talk-lemons  It could be the watering but it could also be the temperature change.  It would be okay to pot up but keep in mind that the plant will be much heavier.   You may have some challenges with your pot because of the shape (unless you have a pot within the pot.  The article does mention that you may want to remove some of the topsoil and replace with fresh potting mix.  Since you already have lemon, you are likely doing all the right things.
