My hollow is starting to turn yellow and has been losing some leaves. Please see attached pictures. Do you know what is causing this? Is there a way to address this without using any toxins?

It appears that there may be more than one issue affecting your holly.
First off, this is the normal time of year for older leaves on hollies to yellow and then fall, so this is not concerning.
However, it does look like you may have a tiny sucking insect called Japanese Maple Scale (the white dash-like things on the leaves).
They can be difficult to control, but prune out and discard the worst affected leaves and spray with a horticultural oil, to smother them.
