I have quite a few of these vines growing down by a fence in under some shady trees. I'm worried that they are poison of some sort. Any idea on what they are, and suggestions on how to get rid of them?

This is poison ivy. Here is our page with how to control it: https://extension.umd.edu/hgic/topics/poison-ivy Be sure to read the links, too.
Use gloves to pull it off. If the vines are not too old, you can simply pull them up when the soil is moist. Most older vines can be dug up. For huge vine stumps left after cutting off the vine, spray the stump immediately after cutting, using an herbicide with glyphosate or triclopyr.
This is a native plant and is actually beneficial in wild natural areas or parks because it produces berries for wildlife, but obviously not the back yard!
