Expert Response
My apologies for not replying sooner but I have been researching current vaccination recommendations for new born calves. Since I do not have much information on the background of your calves, I can give you some general information!
If the calves are a week old or thereabouts, the general consensus is to use an intranasal vaccine that covers the common respiratory diseases. The best vaccine you should get is called ENFORCE.
Your vet supply company will know it. Follow directions on the label.
If you do not know the background of the calves, you should also consider a multi valent Clostridium antitoxin.
When the calves are weaned they should then get the multi valent vaccine.
I would recommend you consult your veterinarian if you need more specific information.
