I was hoping someone could help me identify this spider. It is a smaller version of several larger ones we have found around our house lately. and Iâm hoping they arenât a poisonous species.

This common spider is in the Gnaphosid family. It is also known as a ground spider or a mouse spider. They are not a threat to people or pets.
