evergreen tree dying twigs/branches #595947

Asked September 10, 2019, 6:01 PM EDT

I have a row of evergreen trees at the edge of the road. I just noticed a few small dead branches/twigs spread throughout the trees. Please let me know if this is normal for fall, or what you think it might be. These trees have had wooly adelgid in the past, but we eradicated that a few years ago and I don't see any right now. Thank you!

Sorry, but we cannot tell much from the photo you submitted. It is not abnormal to have some scattered dead branches throughout the trees this time of year. If you like you can send more photos with at least one of the overall appearance of the trees. It is very good that you monitor trees for hemlock wooly adelgid.
