where can buy a Common juniper ( Juniperus communis) as i wish to use the berries in cooking. i can find other hybrids but according to my research this is the one i need for safe eating. willing to travel some if i have to

You will find several nurseries that carry common juniper, including some in Minnesota.

I have called many nurserys and have none that carry common juniper they do carry hybrids
You may need to look online. I have no way of telling you where you might find what you are looking for.
You might also ask one of your local nurseries if they would order them for you. You might have to take 5 if that is their minimum.
