Can I somehow control the big black oozing mold on my mulberry tree? Can it contaminate other plants in my yard?

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to identify a problem without a photo, and knowing where the tree is located. I suggest you find your county Extension office here https://extension.oregonstate.edu/find-us and take in some photos of the ‘ooze.’ They can help ID it, and give treatment advice. Good luck!
