My mayday seems to be infected with aphids what should I do

Those certainly look like winged adult aphids so, presumably, the wingless forms aren't far behind. There are quite a few options for dealing with aphids; they have many natural predators as well as chemical and cultural control options.
Here are some excellent resources on aphids and they should provide you with lots of information on what you do with the aphids on your bird cherry.
