Clemantis vine #586731

Asked August 05, 2019, 11:57 PM EDT

I think this is a Clemantis but it has never had flowers and it is growing like crazy and tendrils are reaching everywhere. See the picture of the leaves. This branch is about 11 inches long and each leaf is about 2". The plant is very green and crawling but I have never seen any flowers. I can take a picture of the plant tomorrow if it will help.

Wisteria is likely. Here is a photo I took recently of one that is getting away from the homeowner. This is a good article about Wisteria care from OSU Extension: https://extension.oregonstate.edu/news/wisteria-care-get-out-your-clippers-twice-year-go-town Send more photos if you question it being Wisteria as you compare your plant with images.
Thanks very much.  The plant has never bloomed and that is my question.  I wasn't sure what it was because it didn't flower.  It is not young and has been in location for at least 8 years or longer.  It is growing like crazy with lots of vines reaching out in every direction.  it has not been fed in some time.
why is it so green and lush but has never flowered?

Wisteria blooms might be lacking because of too much nitrogen, which encourages leafy growth only. Don’t fertilize or give Wisteria too much water. Another culprit is too much shade. Finally, pruning at the wrong time might mean you are cutting away the flower buds.
