There are a couple of different moths and butterflies that use spicebush as a host plant: Swallowtails, Promethea moths, and Spotted Apatelodes Moths. See the following page and look under the section that says "relationships." https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewSpecies.php?species=1363
