Hello,
Could you please help me identify these insects that on my potato plants? Are they leafhoppers? Could you please recommend some strategies to get rid of them? I think they are damaging my potato plants.

Hi- this is a species of planthopper. Leafhoppers are smaller, pale green and wedge-shape. They ususally occur in greater numbers than planthoppers, fly off the plants when disturbed, and cause browning ofthe leaf margins:

Planthoppers are extremely common, but not so much on potato. You can wipe off the clusters of nymphs and their waxy, fluffy protective cover if you feel they are causing a problem:
