Hydrangea colour #579705

Asked July 13, 2019, 12:46 PM EDT

My new hydrangea came to me a beautiful deep pinkish purple hue. I planted it in full sun, not knowing it was not tolerant of full sun. I kept it watered daily and could not understand why the leaves and flowers were turning black. Finally after two weeks I dug it up, potted it in potting soil and removed all the damaged leaves and blooms. Now it has begun to flower again, but the blooms appear to be light pink. (See photo)) How can I get back the original Color.
