How to bring "escaped" euonymus hedge back under control? #575823

Asked July 01, 2019, 11:49 AM EDT

There is a hedge of Euonymus shrubs on our property boundary. It hasn't been pruned or trimmed in recent years. Any recommendations on what can be done with it, when and how to proceed? Thanks

Prune as soon as you can--before July 15.

You can cut back as much as 1/3 of the shrub each year. From the photos, it looks like that would handily get your euonymus under control.
