Flies on vegetable plants #572419

Today I noticed flies on my squash leaves. Then I noticed them in lesser quantity on my tomatoes, and strawberries.

Hi, from the photo these appear to be what is called a "long-legged" fly. They are a beneficial insect in the garden. Here is a link to some info about them.
