I have a plum tree around 5 years old which starts to have good blossom and leaves but then the leaves start turning brown and sometimes whole branches get affected, this also happened last year but the tree did manage to produce a few plums. Some of the leaves are left unaffected. It is planted in a large trough with drainage.
