identify a growth on a juniper? #560093

Hi,
My juniper is covered in these orange gelatinous growths.  I've had the tree for 30 years and have never seen them before.  What are they?  Thanks.

you have juniper rust. very common in wet springs. please see the attachment for more info & treatment (pulling off galls in you can)
