Hello,
I have a peach tree in my yard that I planted 5 or 6 years ago. Last summer it provided delicious peaches for the first time. It has a fungus on it (see pictures). My questions are: 1) Is this fungus dangerous to the tree? 2) If yes, how do I get rid of the fungus? 3) Is there a way to get rid of the fungus without causing harm to the tree or the peach eaters?
Thanks,

Hi,
This looks like shelf fungus that could indicate a significant weakness in the tree. I suggest calling a certified arborist to come out and check your tree. https://extension.umn.edu/planting-and-growing-guides/how-hire-tree-care-professional
