Looking for help regarding if I should be concerned about brown patches and some holes on the leaves of several of my skip laurels (see photos). Only one of the shrubs shows sign of any scale (see photo). No evidence that I could see of pests or borers. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!~

Prune off that branch heavily infested with scale if you can. If not, scrub with a stiff-bristled brush, but not a wire one. You can use a dormant oil now, if they are dormant. Spray crawlers with horticultural oil or soap in June.

The second and third photos show no particular pests or disease. If the soil is not moist when it freezes, and then the shrubs get a lot of sun, they can get sunburn, which the second photo may be. Third photo is incidental damage. Can't say from what cause.
