Moved into a house in Clarksville, MD about 2 weeks ago and spotted this certain type of insect and with some immediate reflection assumed it was a type of Assassin Bug....confirmed with some research. Is this type of Assassin Bug a carrier of Chagras?

This looks like a wheel bug which is a type of assassin bug. It is a good predator. The wheel bug is not associated with Chagras.
